February 10, 2022 (ADAMA, Ethiopia): The Peace and Security division of IGAD conducted a one-day Board meeting with IGAD Women’s Peace and Security Forum (IWPSF) board members on February 8, 2022 in Adama.
During this board meeting, the participants discussed on Women in Peace and Security issues in the IGAD region and the role of IWPSF. They were also provided with information on the implemented activities under the auspices of IWPSF.
Participants discussed the current updates on the budget situation of IGAD Peace and Security Division and the way forward towards the operationalization of the Forum.
