The Executive Secretary of IGAD Amb.(Eng) Mahboub Maalim signed Euros 500,000 grant from the Government of Italy. These fund is intended to support IGAD to step up its efforts in Somalia.

Later, the Executive Secretary hosted a farewell lunch for Amb. Renzo Mario Rosso, outgoing Italian Ambassador and Co-chair of IGAD Partners Forum. The Executive Secretary appreciated the support of Italy to the organization and the role of Ambassador Rosso in the IPF.
