The Executive Secretary of IGAD, Amb. Mahboub Maalim paid a courtesy visit to the president of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Dr. Mulatu Teshome. The Executive Secretary briefed the President on the work of IGAD exchanged views about various regional and international matters. Ms Giuliana del Papa of the IGAD Partner’s Forum, Amb. Tewolde Gebremeskel, Director of Peace and Security Division and Dr. Solomon Munyua, Director of the IGAD Centre for Pastoral Areas and Livestock Development (ICPALD) accompanied the Executive Secretary.
