Delegates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia are visiting the IGAD Secretariat in Djibouti to learn more about the work of IGAD. During their stay, the group will meet with the professional staff and familiarize themselves with IGAD’s pojects and the organization’s activities in the region.

Headed by the Director General of the African Affairs for Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ato Abdeta Dribssa, the delegates attended the first meeting of IGAD Secretariat in which all four new directors of IGAD’s Divisions were introduced.

The Executive Secretary of IGAD Eng. Mahboub Maalim stated his appreciation for the support and commitment of the Government of Ethiopia for IGAD. “This visit will bring IGAD closer to its Member States” said Eng. Mahboub Maalim.
