The IGAD Executive Secretary, Eng. Mabhoub Maalim paid a working visit to the Minister of Advancement of Women, Family Welfare and Social Affairs, H.E. Mrs. Nimo Boulhan Hussein.

 

The Ministry of Advancement of Women, Family Welfare and Social Affairs is now a full cabinet ministry working on diverse projects including education, capacity building and social programs around the country.

The Executive Secretary expressed IGAD’s efforts to promote women’s advancements in the region in general and in Djibouti in particular. He added that gender programs are high in the organization’s priorities.
