IGAD Scientific Conference is to bring together researchers, policy makers, practitioners and international institutions to share their experiences, knowledge and give policy recommendations on how IGAD and its Member States can more effectively protect vulnerable groups and increase the resilience of migrants, refugees, displaced persons and host communities to better mitigate the impact of changes of inclusion and social cohesion. In this view, the Secretariat of the IGAD in cooperation with its development partners, Government of Germany through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the World Bank and the Sweden International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) is organising the 3rd IGAD regional scientific conference themed “Inclusion and Social Cohesion: Connecting research, data and policy “, to be held in Radisson Blu Upperhill, Nairobi on Tuesday 1st – Thursday 3rd November 2022.
