Uganda National Consultative Workshop on the Kampala Declaration on Jobs, Livelihoods and Self-Reliance for Refugees, Returnees, and Host Communities
The IGAD Secretariat under the auspices of the IGAD Support Platform on Forced Displacements will convene a national consultative workshop for the Government of Uganda on the Kampala Declaration on Jobs, Livelihoods and Self-Reliance for Refugees, Returnees, and Host Communities.
The consultations will target different line ministries of the government as well as refugee hosting areas and local governments. Separate meetings will be organized with representatives from the private sector to provide a public-private sector forum to stimulate engagements aimed at attracting the private sector to increase investments opportunities for refugees.
