Regional Exchange/Learning Workshop on Durable Solutions for Displacement Affected Communities for Somalia and South Sudan.
Brief Background
Information-sharing on Durable Solutions to forced displacement is paramount in IGAD. Such forums help draw lessons that can be applied in member states’ contexts to help make informed decisions on matters related to Durable Solutions. In this regard, IGAD Secretariat will convene a learning/exchange workshop on Durable Solutions between Somalia and South Sudan to better understand and apply the context-related lessons in the respective countries.
The Regional Exchange/Learning Workshop will be organized under the auspices of the IGAD Support Platform on Forced Displacement.
