The Last meeting of the IGAD BMP Programme Steering Committee (PSC) and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) was held on 2 May 2018 at IGAD Headquarters in Djibouti, Republic of Djibouti. The meeting was opened by Mr. Mohamed Moussa, Director of Agriculture and Environment Division. It was attended by all PSC and TAC members from the member states, EUD, NIRAS and IGAD Secretariat.
The objective of the meeting was to review the achievements made by the programme, the challenges faced during the implementation period and the opportunities for a second phase of BMP. The meeting ended by making a number of recommendation to sustain the achievements made, to avoid the challenges faced in future programmes and mobilize resources for the second phase of BMP.
