IGAD Regional Learning Exchange Visit to the South African Qualifications Authority

The IGAD Secretariat is facilitating a learning and knowledge exchange visit by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) to the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) to share best practices and leverage SAQA’s experience in implementing a Qualification Framework that interfaces with a regional framework, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Regional Qualifications Framework (SADCQF).

By leveraging the expertise of SAQA and KNQA as co-facilitators and examples, the learning exchange visit aims to cultivate capacity-building opportunities and foster actionable insights and strategies for effectively implementing and operationalizing the IGAD Qualifications Framework (IGADQF), thereby promoting regional integration and educational excellence.
