2ND REGIONAL LEARNING EVENT / WB APPRAISAL MISSION
This workshop aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and strategic planning. Over the course of three days, participants will engage in discussions, and presentations that cover a wide range of topics, including collaborative initiatives for transboundary groundwater management, exploration techniques tailored to the IGAD region’s unique context, engineering practices that promote resilience, fiduciary challenges, and the social aspects of groundwater management. Through these sessions, we aspire to enhance collaboration, equip participants with essential skills and insights, and foster a deeper understanding of groundwater’s role in addressing fragility and enhancing resilience in borderlands. Together, we aim to build the way for a more sustainable and resilient future for the IGAD region through effective groundwater management and cooperation.
