The Regional Pastoral Livestock Livelihood Resilience Project (RPLRP) workshop seeking to harmonize Kenya’s and Uganda’s cross-border activities kicked off today in Eldoret Kenya. This workshop aims to harmonize the work plan of the two countries, guide the implementation of the project activities within the Karamoja Cluster, discuss the plans for development of the project management information system (MIS), and detailed baseline studies for the different components.

This workshop is part of IGAD’s effort to coordinate regional investments to build drought resilience in the IGAD region and a follow up to high-level and technical consultations to prepare comprehensive investment programs for the pastoral areas of the IGAD region.
