The Executive Secretary of IGAD H.E Amb (Eng) Mahboub Maalim received credentials from the Kingdom of Netherlands represented by Ambassador Bengt Van Loosdrecht, Permanent Representative of the African Union, IGAD and UN Economic Commission for Africa on March 3, 2017 in Addis Ababa.
The Executive Secretary thanked the Ambassador and his Government for the accreditation of a representative to IGAD which shows strong collaboration between IGAD and Netherlands.
Ambassador Loosdrecht presented his credentials to Amb Maalim with an official address on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen of Netherlands. In his speech, he expressed much gratitude for welcoming him.
