Djibouti, Tuesday 06 October 2015: The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), HE Ambassador (Eng.) Mahboub Maalim, congratulates the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E Hailemariam Dessalegn, on the occasion of his re-election.
Ambassador Maalim, pointed out to the role played by Ethiopia in peace and security in the IGAD region and re-stated the exemplary way elections were conducted in Ethiopia last May.
“It gives me a great pleasure to congratulate your Excellency on behalf of IGAD and myself upon your resounding victory in being re-elected as Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia” said Ambassador Maalim in his message.
“I strongly believe that you will lead our regional organization IGAD and indeed your country, Ethiopia, with great commitment and dedication”, he continued before wishing His Excellency “good health and peace and prosperity to Ethiopia and our region”.
