(Djibouti – July 13, 2019) The Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place on 12 July in Kismayo, which claimed the lives of many innocent civilians.
IGAD expresses deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of victims of this heinous attack.
IGAD continues to stand in support and solidarity with the People and Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia in their fight against the menace of terrorism.
