SERVICE CONTRACT NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO PUBLISH IGAD BIODIVERSITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME’S STRATEGIES, PROTOCOLS AND POLICIES

The Intergovernmental Authority (IGAD) has received financing from the European Union (EU) /European Development Fund (EDF) acting as the implementing Agency toward the cost of activities under the Biodiversity Management Programme (BMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds for services for the publishing of IGAD Biodiversity Management Programme’s Policies, Protocols and Strategies.
The BMP is an IGAD initiative with the financial support of the European Union (EU) aiming to contribute to poverty reduction by improving the social and economic wellbeing of the populations in IGAD region, through a better regional integration in the environmental sector. Its purpose is the conservation and sustainable management of the ecosystems in the IGAD region, in order to contribute to lasting ecosystem goods and services.
The Publisher should demonstrate proven experience in publishing the documents. The Publisher will assist IGAD-BMP document type setting and editing of documents.
Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) – Biodiversity Management Programme (BMP) now invites eligible publishers to express their interest in providing the Publishing services. Interested service consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the 10th EDF/11th EDF Procurement and Grants Guidelines. Proposals must be in English and should be submitted by email to the address below. Email should be written “Proposal for Publishing of IGAD Biodiversity Management Programme’s Policies, Protocols and Strategies.
Proposals must be submitted not later than 10:00 am on Monday 12th March 2018.
