The Executive Secretary of IGAD, Ambassador Mahboub Maalim and officials from IGAD consisting of the Director of Peace and Security, Ambassador Tewolde Gebremeskel, Special Envoy to Somalia, Ambassador Mohamed Affey, and the Coordinator for Capacity Building, Mr. Farah Abdulsamed met with the Norwegian  State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hans Brattskar and other high level officials from NORAD. The parties discussed the need for IGAD-Norway cooperation in development, trade and economics as well as the conflicts in the Horn of Africa.
