17-01-2019, Djibouti (Djibouti): The IGAD member states strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on Dusit complex in Nairobi, Kenya, which took place on 15 January 2019.
The IGAD member states express heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of the Republic of Kenya as well as to the families of the bereaved and wish quick and full recovery to the injured.
At this moment of grief, IGAD reaffirms its solidarity with the people and Government of Kenya.
IGAD further expresses its readiness to stand by the people and Government of Kenya in their fight against terrorism in its all forms.
