Eng. Mahboub and H.E. Ambassador Simenda

Executive Secretary of IGAD, Eng. Mahboub Maalim, received H.E. Ambassador Francis Zaza Simenda, the ambassador and permanent representative to the African Union and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.The ambassador is also Zambia’s Permanent Secretary to IGAD.

Executive Secretary praised Zambia for its support to IGAD. The two officials had a broad discussion about the region and called for stronger relationship and cooperation.

For his part, the Zambian ambassador Simenda thanked the Executive Secretary for his gracious hospitality in welcoming him to Djibouti.
