CONSULTANCY SERVICEFOR STUDY ON NATURAL RESOURCE DEGRADATION NEXUS MIGRATION IN THREE CLUSTERS OF
THE IGAD REGION
Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) has got budget from GIZ towards the cost of study on Natural Resource Degradation nexus Migration in Three Clusters of the IGAD Region.
The service includes a study on the nexus between Migration and Land Degradation in order to get a better understanding on how natural resource degradation impacts host communities of IDPs, pastoralists and refugees and the link between natural resource degradation and decisions to migrate. To this end an in-depth analysis of trends of natural resource degradation in correlation with migratory movements in the Karamoja Cluster will be undertaken.
IGAD invites for a competent individual from qualified and experienced individual consultants to undertake the above mentioned service. The successful individual will be selected in accordance with the provisions set forth in the IGAD Procurement Manual, issued on July 2012, revised and updated on 1st January 2017. A Tender Document will be sent to interested and Short Listed individuals for the service.
