UN Resident Coordinator Visits IGAD

Maalim, Mr. Bwango and Ms. Hodan Haji-Mohamud The Resident Coordinator of the Operational Activities of the United Nations Systems, and Resident Representative of the UNDP and Representative of the UNFPA, Ms. Hodan A. Haji-Mohamud, paid a working visit to the office of IGAD Executive Secretary, Eng. Mahboub Maalim. The officials discussed collaboration between the organizations and building the capacity of IGAD. Ms. Haji-Mohamud underscored the importance of IGAD as a building block of the African Union with key role in the Peace and Security and general development of the region.
